- Earlier last week we had a play date with our friends Addie and Sadie that live across the street. Emma wanted them to have an American Girl doll party. Here are the girls with their dolls.

Ava wanted to be included in everything they did.
- This didn’t happen last week, it actually happened before Christmas, but I hadn’t blogged about it. Wesley got his yellow belt in Karate. Way to go Wesley!

- It had been really cold, rainy, and just down right miserable weather last week. The kids really miss playing outside when it’s like that. Eric and I got the kids one of those cardboard playhouses that you color on in the hopes that it would keep them entertained. It did not disappoint. They love it!

It was fun, but it was kind of hard for a one and a half year old to understand that you can color on the walls and doors of a cardboard house, but not the wall and doors of the actual house.

Friday night I took Emma to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D. She wanted to wear her Belle dress.

Ava came over to get in one of the pictures. Cutie pie.

Emma and her prince. We had gone to lunch with Eric earlier that day and after we dropped him back off at work, she said to me, “Mommy, Daddy is the sweetest prince in the world.” I have to agree with her. ; )

It was such a fun time with my little girl.

- When I got home Friday night I was feeling really awful. My throat had been hurting for a couple of days, and it was REALLY bad! I ended up going to The Little Clinic on Saturday and they gave me an antibiotic. I’m hoping it kicks in soon and I will feel better. Last night Emma started coughing and telling me she didn’t feel good. I felt like crying. We haven’t gone a week without someone in this house being sick since before Christmas! I have only been to church once since Christmas. I’m trying not to get discouraged, but would appreciate your prayers that we will all be 100% soon!

My sister Heather and her husband Blake got married last April 9th. I’m a little bit behind on blogging about it, but I wanted to have it on our blog for our records. ( I’m behind on several major things from last year.) Eric took these amazing pictures.
Heather and Blake seeing each other for the first time.

The beautiful couple.

Getting ready.

The wedding was at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens at it was absolutely beautiful! It was a little warmer than expected the day of the wedding, but the sun was shining and you can’t really complain about that for an outdoor wedding!

Emma had mixed feelings about being a flower girl. Right before it was our turn to walk down the isle, she decided to run the opposite direction. I guess she thought it would be fun to see her Mommy jogging through the grass in heels! I was a little “winded” in this picture.

Cute little Olivia. It’s amazing to see how much the kids have grown since these pictures!

Here comes the bride. . .

I love this shot of my Dad.

Love that beautiful dogwood tree!

Again with the mixed feelings. . .

The Hamiltons

The cake.

I love the grooms cake!

I loved their thumbprint tree!

The center pieces on the tables.

My sweet little Ava and Maa.

We had a very fun weekend! We had two very important birthday parties to go to.
Saturday we went to our neighbors Addie and Sadie’s birthday party. They had a Wizard of Oz theme party, and it was adorable. Their Mom is amazing at doing birthday parties. She even has a blog about it.
Emma with the birthday girls.

Some of the incredible decorations!

Even the food went with the theme! So cute!

Emma playing pin the heart on the tin-man.

Ava chowing down. She has been a big time eater lately!

Check out this amazing cake! It was a layered rainbow cake on the inside!

Happy birthday Addie and Sadie!
Eric was in Las Vegas last week for CES. He went with Joey and his friend Nick. Sydney and Sofia were here Saturday to pick up their Daddy from the airport, so we got in some good cousin time. The kids wanted to make welcome home posters for their Daddys. So sweet! We are so happy to have Eric home!

Today, we went to little Caedmon’s first birthday party.
Is he cute or WHAT?

I loved his adorable “gator” theme.

I love these sweet girls!

We had a teeny bit of snow this morning and the kids just HAD to go out and play in it. We got all bundled up and headed out to play.

The kids had a blast! We came inside and got all cleaned up and had some hot chocolate, of course.

So, my really sweet and awesome husband got me this beauty. It’s the Sony NEX-C3.

I love it! I’m still learning how to use it. I’m sure my photography will be a little better once I finish reading the manual.
Today, we went to visit my friend Sarah and her new baby Avery. Avery is 2 months old now. With the holidays, and our family being sick we haven’t made it over to visit her until now.
Ethan (Avery’s big brother), and Wesley holding Avery.

Emma with Avery.

Ava really likes babies.

She likes them best when I’m not holding them. She gets a teeny bit jealous.

Aren’t babies just the sweetest?

We were so glad to finally meet you little Avery!
