OK, so Wesley HATES it when I call it a date but I needed to spend some time with my buddy. Eric and I decided, before we ever even had children, that when we became parents we wanted to take our kids on “dates”.
We know the importance of spending one on one time with our kids and feel like it’s especially important, for their future relationships, to spend time with the parent of the opposite sex. When Emma gets older she will go on “dates” with her Daddy.
So Wesley and I headed to see the movie The Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian. We stopped at McDonalds on the way and Wesley was soooo excited that they had Night at the Museum toys in the happy meals. We saw the movie in Imax which was really neat.
Wesley and I both LOVED the first movie. We both think Larry ( Ben Stiller) is hilarious! The new one was really cute, not quite as cute as the first one, but we both enjoyed it.
