If you know me, then you know that I happen to love bows..BIG bows. However, my precious adorable baby girl is somewhat lacking in the hair department. My sister Heather once lovingly pointed out ” if Emma had hair it just wouldn’t be fair to the other babies.”
Aunt Heather may be a little bias, but I happen to agree that with or without hair my Emma is GORGEOUS! So for the nineteen months that she has been on this earth I don’t think there has been a day that she hasn’t worn a bow. One of her first words was bow, and now she gets excited about wearing them! ( I Love it!) Here is a link to my friend Jessica’s bow site . She has kept us stocked up on bowbands and does a great job!
Here are just a few pictures of her bows:

See how sad she is when she isn’t wearing one….

Usually when people do a room makeover you see a before picture….Oops! I forgot to take one. You’ll just have to imagine it. Everything was the same except the walls were white.

I did the dots with stencils ( thanks Jen).

I got the vinyl stick letters at Hobby Lobby. The pictures on the wall are Wesley and Emma. Both were taken when they were nine months old. I think it’s funny how much bigger Emma looks (and is) in her picture.

We are doing pink stripes in Emma’s room in a couple of weeks. I promise to take a before picture!

Last week we took a little trip to Dollywood with Grandmommy, Grandaddy and Uncle Adam (my Mom, stepdad and brother). We love Dollywood and we usually get season passes every year. It’s one of our favorite places.
In the summer they have Kids Fest, so they have lots of extra stuff going on for kids. We went to see the Kratt brothers from PBS’s Zoboomafoo. Wesley really enjoyed it since he used to watch that show all the time. Emma didn’t want to sit still so I had to take her out and stroll her around. She finally fell asleep. Here is yet another picture of her asleep in her stroller. Always adorable.

One thing I love about Dollywood is how they decorate everything for the different seasons. I thought it was adorable how they had it decorated for Kids Fest.

We got to meet Bob and Larry from Veggie Tales. Emma was so cute she went running up to them and was so excited I could hardly get her to turn around for the picture.

Emma’s favorite ride is the carousel.

A really neat sand sculpture.

The most exciting news about our trip was that Wesley rode his FIRST roller coaster, the Tennessee Tornado! He was so brave and he ended up riding it three times!

We just got back from the beach a couple of weeks ago. It was a great trip even though it was a little too short. We were only there for 5 days but we definately fit alot in to our visit, maybe a little too much. We were so exhausted when we got home. Gammy and Papaw came over to visit for a couple of days. We really enjoyed getting to visit with them as always. We were also able to fit in some time for family beach pictures.

Wesley really enjoyed the beach this year. I guess you could say he was actually the reason we decided to take this last minute trip. He has been asking when we were going back to the beach for a while now. He would play in the water all day. I think he ended up wearing his Daddy and Papaw out. He also really enjoyed playing in the pools at our hotel, especially the “racing pool” also known as the lazy river. He got a new pirate hat with his name on it and a bag of treasure. We also went to a really neat candy store called “it’s sugar”. They have every kind of candy you can think of including a ton of different colored M&M’s, so he got blue ones of course.

Emma seemed to enjoy the beach a little more than last year. Not suprising since last year she could barely sit up. She was more of a land and pool girl and wasn’t a big fan of the ocean. She had fun playing in the sand and there were several baby pools at our hotel that she enjoyed and made some baby friends there.

We were at the beach for the 4th of July and we had a blast. We spent most of the day at the beach and went to a great firework show that night. There were also lots of people setting off fireworks on the beach in front of our hotel that we enjoyed from our balcony.

This past week was a busy week at the Reagan’s house. Wesley’s last day of school was on Monday and Tuesday was his graduation breakfast at school followed by a graduation party at the home of one of his classmates. Tuesday night we had a small little celebration and then GRADUATION (bring on the tears)!

Wesley has had such a great Kindergarden year! We were so blessed to have Ms. Sluss as his teacher, she is so sweet and kind and she had a classroom full of kids who adored her. All the kids did such a great job at the Graduation. It was evident that they had practiced very hard. Grandmommy Grandaddy, Uncle Adam, Aunt Heather, Maa, and Mimi and of course Eric and Emma and me were all there to see our little blond headed boy walk across the stage and get his little diploma. Yes I cried…embarrasingly hard. It was a bittersweet moment. My little boy is growing up, he is such a good boy I couldn’t ask for a sweeter more precious son! He makes Eric and I so proud! We are excited to see what God has in store for his life. The sad part is how fast it’s going by.

Wesley I love you more than you will ever know!
