Today Emma and I went to Dollywood with my friend Sarah and her little boy Ethan. The weather was perfect! Mid to upper sixties and sunny, it was beautiful.
Emma and Ethan had so much fun together. They really get along well.

They rode the ducks, pigs, and bees together.

We had a yummy lunch at Aunt Granny’s. The kids were very well behaved and ate a lot of food!

The fall decorations are so pretty at Dollywood and we attempted to have a little photo shoot.

Sad attempt for a mother daughter photo

Emma decided to take a 20 minute nap.

We ended a wonderful day with funnel cake.

The tram ride back to the car. ( I think their faces are so sweet in this one.)

It’s been pretty busy once again and I’ve been a bad blogger!
My Dad stayed with us a couple of nights last week. He was here because my uncle had surgery on Wednesday. We found out today that the tumor they removed was cancerous. We haven’t heard all the details but we are praying that they got it all and he will be OK.
Aside from the circumstances, we were glad to be able to visit with him.
Later in the week (last week), Emma and I had lunch with Grandmommy at the mall and we did a little shopping.

We found some pink mary jane crocs on sale for really cheap. She has wanted to wear them every day since.

I had coffee (and dessert) with the girls from church. We had a great time!

Saturday I had two baby showers to go to.
My good friend Tonya is having a little girl Kiera due December 5th (the day after Emma ‘s birthday). I am so excited for her and her husband Steve. They will be amazing parents. Sorry this picture is so horrible.

I also got to hang out with Sonda and Elliott at the shower.

Heather had another shower given by her friends at Belleza. It was really fun and it was good to see some of my old Belleza buddies.

This is seriously the cutest cake I’ve ever seen, and it was from Magpies so it was also very delicious!

Some of the cute decor.

Sunday after church we celebrated my brothers birthday. I can’t believe he is 20!

Sunday night we also had care group at the Giffords and I didn’t take one single picture! The horror!
And finally today Wesley had his flu shot. I told him he could choose anywhere to go eat dessert. He wanted some good ole coca cola cake at Cracker Barrel.
He is so stinkin adorable.

Since Wesley’s birthday was over a month ago, I figured I needed to put some pictures up of his party. We had a bowling birthday party and I think it was my favorite party we’ve ever had.

My friend Veronica made this awesome bowling cake.

It was cosmic bowling so they had black lights on and all the kids got glow necklaces.

These are the cute cookies I ordered for party favors.

He was so happy to have some of his really good buddies there, and he got some really neat gifts.

Towards the end of the party they had a dance contest and guess who won….

Emma has some pretty impressive moves! Ha Ha!

Wesley’s signature dance move is the robot.

It was a great day and I’m sure Wesley will always remember it.
We have a tradition every year of eating at Wasabi ( a Japanese hibachi restaurant) on his birthday. We came home and Wesley opened presents from us and we had cake. Wesley requested a chocolate eclair cake. A family favorite.

I still can’t believe I have a 7 year old!!!

The weather here has been really rainy and yucky, so today Emma and I met some friends at Bounce U.S.A.

We had a really great time. Emma wasn’t sure what to think about it at first, but she got the hang of it after a few minutes.

This is Emma with one of her boyfriends Ethan. We had a yummy lunch at Chick-fil-A after. I think we will be making another trip to Bounce U.S.A. soon!!!

Beat those Gators!!

This is Emma and her best friend Elliott. This was taken last year.
We are hoping that Tennessee will upset the Gators today and win.

But, even if we loose we still love the Giffords……and Tim Tebow. ( shhhhh)
Go Vols!!!!!
