I’m a little behind with this post, and I’m actually 29 weeks now. Eric took this picture the morning that we left for Disney World. I meant to do some blogging from there but that just didn’t happen. I am officially saying goodbye to my second trimester. I’ve started going to the doctor every 2 weeks now. They will be checking me for gestational diabetes for the third time next time I go. I expressed some concern to my Dr. about Ava being big. Emma was 9lbs 3 oz. and I have no desire to try and deliver a baby any bigger than that! They will check her size in a few weeks.
- At 28 weeks Ava is between 2 and 3 pounds ( hopefully no bigger)
- She measured roughly 15 inches from head to toe.
- She is beginning to dream.
- She has eyebrows and eyelashes.
- I’ve noticed that she isn’t moving around as much ( she still kicks me all the time though).
- I feel great and getting around Disney World was not as hard as I thought it would be.
We are still working on the Disney pics, but here are a few pictures of our hotel room.

We pushed the two double beds together for Wesley, Emma, and Eric’s mom so we didn’t have to worry about Emma falling out of the bed. This is how I found them on Sunday morning.

We really enjoyed the place that we stayed. It was a really great deal and had a ton of space. It was only one mile from Disney World and had a free shuttle service. The pool was awesome too. There are pictures to come on that.

We just got back from an incredible vacation at Disney World! We had a blast! I have so many pictures to share. It will probably take me a day or so to go through all of them. The weather was wonderful. It rained on the second part of our first day, but the rest of the week was gorgeous. Wesley rode every single scary/thrilling ride. I was so proud of how brave he was and how willing he was to try anything. Emma got to meet her favorite princesses and her reactions to them was one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen!
We got home last night. It was a LONG trip home. We ran into some horrible traffic! It took us 10 hours to get down there and over 14 hours to get home. Not a fun trip back. It was nice to sleep in our own beds last night.
Stay tuned for TONS of Disney pictures!

The other day I bought Emma a potty! I saw this one at Wal-mart and thought it was so adorable. It also matches the kids bathroom, so I had to have it. My plan was to not show it to her or say anything about it until we got back from vacation, but she saw it in our closet and was so excited I went ahead and gave it to her.

Sadly, I don’t think she really wants to use it as a potty. She found it to be a really good place to watch T.V.

It has been such a busy week for us. Good, just busy. There have been a couple of days where I was gone all day. Tuesday was one of those days. I got home at about 9:30 and remembered I was supposed to make cupcakes for Wesley’s class for their St.Patrick’s Day party. If any of you Mommy’s out there aren’t familiar with Pilsbury easy frost then I would like to introduce you…

It saved me a lot of time. ( I was tempted to turn up the can and just squirt it in my mouth, but I promise I refrained.)
Here is my little lucky charm before school. He was really excited because they got to dress in green instead of wearing uniforms.

The whole class brought green food to share at snack. They had everything from broccoli and grapes to jelly beans and green peeps.
Wesley is doing so well in school. He really enjoys first grade and we have been blessed with a wonderful teacher this year, Ms. Wright. I always go through his work that he brings home everyday and I thought this was very impressive..

He was given the words that you can see at the top right corner and was supposed to write a story. This is probably one of those things that I will save. Do any of you have a hard time throwing your kids school work/ art work away? I know I can’t keep everything, but things like this are just so precious to me.
We are getting very excited about our trip to Disney World! I had these shirts made for the kids and I can hardly wait for them to wear them.

The lady that made these shirts is so talented and her prices are very reasonable. If you need her number just let me know. She is great!
Now, I have to make Emma a bow to match her shirt!

I would like to apologize for the lame blog post title, but I just couldn’t think of anything. Honestly, trying to think of a blog post title is sometimes my least favorite thing about blogging.
We had a very fun weekend. Saturday I went to a baby shower with my Mom and sister. We got to visit with some family that we hardly ever get to see. Saturday night we went to the dollar movies with the Giffords. We went to see the movie Old Dogs. It was such a cute, funny movie. I was also very impressed at how well Emma and Elliott behaved. They both sat through the whole movie and seemed to actually really enjoy it. This was a big shock to me. Especially for Emma. I think this was only the second movie she’s ever been to.

Tonight we had some friends over for dinner. My friend Rachel and I have known each other since we were about 15. We were actually cheerleaders together. Her husband Jonathan and Eric have gotten to know each other through their businesses, so it was fun to get together and hang out. Rachel has two adorable little boys, Noah and Weston and they had a great time playing with Wesley.

They love Star Wars too.
So here is an embarrassing cheerleading picture. Sorry Rach.

In case you couldn’t tell I’m the second from the right on the top row and Rachel is on the front row underneath me.
I think we’ve improved with age.

While I was downloading pictures I came across these pictures from the other day when my Mom and Olivia came over. They are too cute not to share.

Time for me to go to bed. This spring forward thing is really messing with me.

- At 26 weeks Ava is about 1.7 lbs.
- I’m starting to feel tired again
- I’m not sleeping very well at night
- I’ve started to notice some swelling in my legs and ankles
- I’ve been craving fruit and ice water
I started cleaning out Emma’s closet to make room for Ava. She finally has a little place for some of her clothes and blankets. I came across this little dress that I wore home from the hospital. Emma never got to wear it because the seasons weren’t right. Since Ava is going to be born at the same time of year that I was I think I might make it her coming home outfit.

Emma usually watches TV in my bedroom while I take a shower when I got out of the shower today this is how I found her.

I’ve been working on closets this week. I’m trying to organize and get rid of stuff. Tomorrow I’m going to try and tackle our closet. It’s by far the worst. It has to be done though.
